VISITOR SERVICES: VISITOR CENTRE
Tourism Medicine Hat operates the Visitor Centre located on the Trans Canada
Highway in Medicine Hat; take the exit to the World's Tallest Tepee. The Centre is
open year round, giving you to-to-date information on events, services,
attractions and other important travel information.
Along with knowledgeable staff to assist you in your vacation planning, our
Visitor Information Centre also provides free internet access, a picnic
area and playground, souvenirs and a large parking lot that provides ample space for your RV. Walking trails nearby are only the
beginning of 90 kilometres of trail that extends throughout Medicine
Hat.
Only 45 minutes away, enjoy the adventure of Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park.
The 'Hills' rise 1,466 metres above sea level and are home to animals such as moose and elk living in a pine and spruce forest. Take a short drive to
the south-west and glimpse into the prairie pioneer life at the Etzikom Museum
and the Canadian National Historic Windmill Museum. Discover
prehistoric adventure only a few hours' drive to the northwest at the
