The Medicine Hat Paddling Club and Tourism Medicine Hat are excited to be co-hosting the Great Big Paddle on, the historic South Saskatchewan River, through Medicine Hat.
Leisurely enjoy the moving waters of the South Saskatchewan River and the landscapes of the sheltered coulees of Medicine Hat as we paddle down river on the South Saskatchewan River from the pristine oasis, Echo Dale Regional Park (Boat Ramp) through the heart of Medicine Hat, ending up at the Strathcona Island Park Boat Ramp.In pre-COVID timers, this fun Paddling Event, regularly saw 110+ Paddlers participate.
All participants must ensure that they have all the legally required Transport Canada Safe Boating Regulations, Safety Gear on their Boats, and all must be properly wearing their Life Jacket / PFD.
The Medicine Hat Paddling Club will provide Water Safety support for this annual Summer event.
