We’re excited to announce that the Business Growth Tradeshow is back this fall — happening Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Cypress Centre Auditorium at the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede Grounds.
Hosted by the APEX Regional Innovation Network (RIN) of Southeast Alberta in partnership with regional economic development organizations, this event is designed to connect entrepreneurs and municipal leaders with the people and programs that power business success.
Whether you’re a business owner looking for grant opportunities, workforce support, export advice, or expert guidance — or a community leader interested in programs related to energy, housing, and talent attraction — this is your one-stop event for practical, in-person support.
“Local companies and communities tell us they’re interested in government programs, but don’t always have the time or access to pursue them,” says Tracy Stroud, Regional Innovation Network Manager at APEX. “That’s why the Business Growth Tradeshow exists — to bring these valuable services directly to Southeast Alberta.”
The tradeshow is free to attend and a great chance to have meaningful conversations with service providers who are typically based in larger urban centres. “We’re helping bridge that gap by creating opportunities for face-to-face connections right here at home,” adds Stroud. “These conversations not only help businesses access support — they also strengthen relationships and build a better understanding of our region’s unique needs.”
