Learn how to explore the natural world in your own backyard while helping to provide valuable data for scientific research with the Big Backyard Bioblitz! Join the Interpretive Program on Monday, July 27th, from 10:00 to 11:30 am to discover the wildlife that can be found in the Food Forest in Medicine Hat. This marks the first day of the Nature Conservancy of Canada’s weeklong citizen science initiative to document as many species as possible all across the country. During this free public program, we will share how to identify and celebrate the diversity that surrounds us and introduce the easy-to-use app (iNaturalist) to document our findings.
