Join the Interpretive Program as we explore Police Point Park looking for anything BUG! From spiders and beetles, to caterpillars we will talk about what an insect is and why we use the word “bug”. Each participant will be able to use one of our handheld field microscopes, so you can take a close up, non-intrusive look at our tiny friends. Once we find an interesting specimen, we'll take a moment to draw what we see and label it. This free public program is family-friendly but everyone is welcome, participants under 13 will need a chaperone. Skitter your way down to the Nature Centre on Sunday, August 30th, 2026 from 12:30-1:30pm to join!
