Knowledge builds in this free two part-series, but participation in both sessions is not required. Please register for either or both. Sessions are 3.5 hours each, and offered in partnership with the What Matters to Hatters Coalition. This session exists to support communities with the fundamental elements of brain science with a focus on the strengths of knowing how this can positively impact individuals and organizations within a community. The interactive session uses common language and includes content related to brain structure, unconscious responses of fight, flight, freeze, and fawn, and roles of different parts of the brain. In addition, we explore the role of adverse childhood experiences as they relate to brain development in partnership with the tools of resilience.
