As part of our “Legacy Series,” the District Days Market @ Medalta brings together local artisans, food trucks, heritage-focused experiences, and family friendly activities for a vibrant weekend of community connection. Whether you’re searching for something special or simply enjoying the atmosphere, you’ll discover plenty of local goodies throughout the reception gallery and gift shop. We’ve also extended Medalta’s gift shop hours, so you can shop our unique products with special sales on Medalta Wares and Hycroft China! DISCOVER MEDALTA For this special 2-day event, Medalta will remain open late, giving visitors additional opportunities to explore the site including FREE tours throughout: The Medalta Museum (Self-Guided) The Shaw Centre for Contemporary Ceramics (Guided) No sign-up necessary! FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY Families can spend the day exploring the Historic Clay District together, participating in activities throughout the site and taking part in interactive experiences that celebrate heritage, creativity, community, and learning. FOOD & DRINK BAR: As part of the festivities, guests can visit our on-site paid bar featuring a special collaboration with the Medicine Hat Brewing Company. We are also offering a special “Anniversary” cocktail, crafted especially to commemorate four decades of The Friends of Medalta Society, as well as a variety of non-alcoholic options for everyone to enjoy!
