Fluttering Butterflies – An Introduction to Butterflies of Southern Alberta

Are you interested in knowing more about our regional butterflies – which ones we have, their food plants, where to find them and when? Join local naturalist Lloyd Bennett and the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program for an introduction to our most common regional butterflies, along with some interesting facts about them that you may not have known!
Everyone is welcome to attend this presentation from Lloyd, from beginners in butterfly identification, to experienced naturalists; young and old alike. Those under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
This family-friendly public program will take place in the theatre of the Nature Centre, in Police Point Park and will begin promptly at 7 pm. Please arrive no later than 6:55 pm in order to be seated by 7 pm.
This is a free public program and registration is required as spaces are limited.
