It is the 2nd Annual Root Cellar Food Round-Up. This event was a huge success last year the community of Medicine Hat helped us collect 21,000 pounds of food in just one day. Empty bags will be going out to neighborhoods in Medicine Hat, Dunmore, Redcliff, Seven Persons, Desert Blume, Copper Canyon, and Coulee Ridge beginning May 17th. Then on May 25 if you wish to participate we ask that you fill your bag with as many non-perishable food items as you would like and place it in a visible spot on your front step before 9 AM, our volunteers will do the rest!
