Cakebaby is a self taught dj/producer from Regina, SK. Her roots are humble, she started out as an avid festival goer from a small Canadian city.
One day her friend taught her how to dj and she never looked back. She headlined her first show ever at a local bar and soon after taught herself how to produce.
Since then she has provided direct support for multiple acts such as Stylust, Pino & Loeb, Average Citizens, Cloverdale, and Smalltown Djs. On top of the scene she commands locally, Cakebaby has branched out and played multiple festivals/ shows across Western Canada.
She headlined in both Calgary and Winnipeg in the summer of 2023, and continues to branch out.
She constantly creates music is currently signed to Deep n Heat, Force of Habit, Chapterd, DoYu, Quite Right, Phaorah Phonix & LFTD.
Cakebaby does not limit herself to one genre, her arsenal consists of tech house/ UK bassline & dnb. She produces and is signed in all three.
Cakebaby's energy while she performs is addictive; she dances around like nobody is watching while simultaneously interacting with the crowd.
She goes in-between genres, skillfully blending BPMS while keeping the dancefloor moving. She prides herself on track selection by focusing on an eclectic mix of her own IDs and fresh music from other artists; but believes the odd throwback or edit is necessary. Cakebaby is only getting started, and is ready to bring anyone to the cake shop.
