The road to the WCBL championship begins now, and your Medicine Hat Mavericks are ready to chase their 4th title in franchise history! The Mavs will face the Regina Red Sox, with Game 1 set for this Wednesday, August 6th, at 7:05pm from Athletic Park.
This isn't the first time that these two have met in the opening round of the playoffs, with the Mavericks sweeping the Red Sox out of the playoffs back in 2023. But this year, Regina is back and looking for revenge, setting the stage for a thrilling series.
The Mavericks have been building momentum all summer long, accumulating over 30 wins and now they're eager to bring another championship back to Medicine Hat.
