The road to the WCBL championship begins now, and your Medicine Hat Mavericks are ready to chase their 4th title in franchise history! The Mavs will face the Moose Jaw Miller Express, with the Mavericks hosting Game 2 of the series on August 8th at 6:45 pm from Athletic Park.
This isn't the first time that these two have met in the playoffs, with the Mavericks beating the Miller Express in the 2023 playoffs en route to a finals appearance. The two age-old rivals will reunite in the postseason for the first time in 2 years, with a chance to advance to the Eastern Division finals.
Sneaking into the playoffs on the last night of the 2026 regular season, the Mavericks are hungry to make a statement come playoff time, with the hope of winning their first series since 2023.
Let’s pack the park, bring the energy, and show why Athletic Park is one of the toughest places to play in the WCBL.
Tickets will go on SALE at 12:00 pm (MDT) Thursday, August 6th. Season ticket holders will have their tickets available to be purchased until 12:00 pm on Friday, August 7th. If left unclaimed, they will be released to the public.
