Miller’s Haunted Tours: Sensory Edition

Miller’s Haunted Tour: Scream Edition, and St. Dymphna’s Haunted House

Miller’s Haunted Tours: Scream Edition is a night on the Sunshine Trolley, touring you to the darkest corners in Medicine Hat, with all new horror stories and surprises along the way. Tours are from Thursday to Saturdays, at 7:00p.m. and 8:30p.m.
Immersive Screening: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 1

Textile Haunted House at Ewart Duggan House
October 18, 25 and 30, 2025 | Free Event
Explore Shanell Papp’s Textile Haunted House, catch ghostly projections downtown, join mini outdoor tours, and enjoy a Giant Ghost installation. It’s a full afternoon and evening of spooky, playful, and contemplative experiences.
October 18 is from 1-3:30p.m.
October 25 is from 7-9:30p.m, also including:
- Free 15-minute outdoor haunted walking tours with Miller’s Emporium. Tour departs outside of the Ewart Duggan House at: 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30p.m.
- Ghostly projections by PULP Digital Creators and MHC Art & Design Students on the Medicine Hat Public Library
- The Great Pumpkin Smash Festivities, from 1-3:30p.m.
October 30 is from 7-9:30p.m. with a free outdoor screening of Hocus Pocus on the Esplanade’s front lawn.
Halloween Movies at The Monarch Theatre
October 18, 2025 | $5 at the door
Head to Canada’s oldest, purpose-built cinema in downtown Medicine Hat. The doors will open at 1:30 for a 2:00 showtime of Hotel Transylvania, and then will open again at 6:30 for a 7:00 showtime of Addams Family. Admission is $5, cash only at the door, and concession is any two items for $5.
Frightfully Fun Friday at YMCA

From 4-7p.m, find a haunted house, trick-or-treating, dance party, colouring contest, costume contest, and more at the Downtown YMCA.
The haunted house is open on multiple dates: October 24 from 4-7p.m. October 25 from 7-9p.m. October 26 from 11a.m.-2p.m. October 29 from 7-9p.m. and October 30 from 6-9p.m.
Forest of Fear: The Invasion at Police Point Park

Police Point Park is excited to invite the community to the second year of Forest of Fear from 7-10p.m. Stroll through the 300-year-old cottonwood tree forest at night, with scares and characters lingering in the bushes. Attendees must be 16+ with a guardian, ID’s will be checked at the door. All profits from the event help fund their programming throughout the year.

Enjoy live music, treats, hands-on activities, and smashing pumpkins from 1-3:30p.m. Costumes are encouraged. After heading up to the Esplanade Terrace where you can smash your pumpkin onto the drop zone below, find a puppet show, cooking decorating station, spin your own spider web, enjoy live music, order from the food truck, and find the face painting station. *the event is outside and weather dependent.
Halloween Photo Scavenger Hunt

Bring your cameras and your cell phone cameras and meet at the Cultural Centre at 7p.m. After receiving a list of pictures to capture, head to the city to find the halloween decorations around the city. Then, meet at the Scoreboard to visit and see who captured the most photos on the list.

A game of horror, suspense, and shaky hands, use a Jenga tower to guide your fate in this one-shot RPG set deep in B.C.'s haunted pines, from 6-8p.m. Must be 18+.
Co-op Kid’s Club Halloween Party at the Co-op

Dress little ghosts and ghouls in their costumes and join 13th Ave South Country Co-op for their Kid’s Club Halloween Party. From 3-7p.m. find a mini haunted house, pumpkin carving, and caramel apple bar. Register online and use “HALLOWEEN” as the payment reason.

Hundreds of pumpkins, for baking and carving, and gourds for decor.
Johnson Fresh Farms (located near Taber, Alberta)
A day trip on Highway 3 brings you to Johnson Fresh Farms, where you can walk kilometres to find hundreds of pumpkins at the u-pick pumpkin patch. A hay bale maze and tractor ride are also featured for families to enjoy even more time on the pumpkin prairie land.
Once you are done finding your way through the maze, the farm has many other activities like picking your very own pumpkin in the pumpkin patch, magnetic fish pond, mini golf, train rides, and farm animals to pet.
